I am tired
Never ending routine
My brain is out of gas
Body just going threw the motions
I tell myself I can do it!
I drive over an hour
With only my thoughts for company
I walk over compressed pebbles and concrete
Down the road to higher learning
I tell myself
The reward will be grand
I walk to the brown bricks
Through the doors
And up the steps
I walk threw a corridor
Long, narrow, and cold
I sit in chair thats too small
no space
I sit
I am tired
Alas!
years pass
I can see the light
The reward will be grand
I can see the light
Its all been worth it
I am rejuvenated!
