The Mask
This mask I wear from day to day
Is me trying to set my problems stray
But the masquerade will not go on forever
Soon everyone will see this act was my greatest endeavor
My eyes will tell the stories of my past
And my lips of the loves that never did last
With all these hardships I can’t fake a smile
I can’t even say things with the same grace and style
Though this disguise will soon be revealed
I will go on forever as though my troubles were sealed
