I hear the birds singing, and the ocean waves roaring
The vendor’s carts are ringing, and the seagulls are soaring

I love tropical beach sides; I could lie down and sleep tight under the sun.
The monkey’s jump, and the tourists panic
I take it all in relaxing on my hammock

Dreaming

Dreaming can be interesting
and once in a while it can be scary.
Dreaming can take you on an adventure,
or it could take you to your worst nightmare.

Do we have to dream? If so,
why is the mind programmed to do so?
Is there a place where dreaming doesn't exist?
If this place exists are the people happy there?

Dreaming can have several different meanings.
Some realizations, while others cause confusion.

NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY



Strangling her was the first thing that came to mind
I did not understand why she would do this to me
There was no reason that I could find

When secrets are said they are meant to be kept
When an important family member says it to my love partner
It is unacceptable but why is the question that makes me the most upset

Betrayal was the damn reason why
